You've finally done it- graduation! But what do you do now? You've cleaned out your dorm room, gotten your graduation gifts from the front desk, but now it's time to figure out what you're going to do. Head south to Eridanus Town? Southwest through the forest to Gemini City? Or maybe you'll stick around the Academy for awhile, seeing what sort of shenanigans you can get yourself into. In any case, you've walked out into the bright day- ready to begin life after graduation. It's about 3 o'clock in the afternoon on a balmy late spring day. The southwest path from campus leads into a forest not far from the buildings, while the route heading south seems paved and well-traveled. Of course, there is always the campus beach to spend time on if you're feeling a more relaxing celebration of your achievements.

Konchi blinked as she stepped outside. I guess I should go ahead and go to the forest. Maybe I can find some flying types there. She made her way along the path towards the forest humming a little tune. When she got into the forest proper she looked around for any pokemon.

Randolf had his sunglasses on as he left the academy and was not effected by the bright sunlight as bad. "Man, staying cupped up in that place for so long was tough. Now! Let us go explore, Stell!" he says, holding up the pokeball containing Stell as if the pokemon could see out of it. Then the duo heads south, going towards the nearest town to stock up on supplies for their journey.

Matthew steps out of the building raising his hand up to block the sunlight out of his eyes. "Well now that I am free I guess me and Watson should get some training in and maybe use one of my family's graduation presents to get a new friend." Matthew heads off to the forest and decides to look for some new friends to join his party give Watson some exercise. Releasing Watson at his side they search for pokemon.

Seth stepped out of the academy with his bag slung over his shoulder with Flint by his side. The Sun temporarily dazzled him as he took his first steps as a "free man". "What to do now?" he thought whilst audibly exhaling. Upon hearing him the charmander looked up, his face seemed to ask the same question. The answer seemed to hit them at the same time, they both turned and raced to the beach as they had often done after a long day of "studying".

"Thank god that's over," Averie muttered, stretching her arms to the sky. The trio of miscellaneous Pokeballs, presents from her parents, clinked against the Potions as she readjusted the bag over her shoulder. It seemed like the day had dragged on so far--cleaning had been an endeavor, and she'd had her fill of overhearing tear-riddled goodbyes. But it was fine. It was fine. Because now? Now, she was an adult. An adult who was finally able to properly start her Pokemon journey.
"Rio!!"
The bark drew her from her thoughts, and she glanced down at the Riolu at her side. "What is it, Warren?"
The Riolu made a face, crossing his arms and staring up at the girl expectantly.
"What? Am I taking too long to figure out where to go next?" She rolled her eyes as the Pokemon nodded in response.
"Ffffffine. ...y'know, a map would have been a nice graduation present too...." She shrugged, looking back down at her partner. "Which way do you wanna go?"
There was a long pause where Warren glanced between the well-worn path, the forest, and the beach, before raising a paw towards the beach.
"Beach it is!" Averie laughed, scooping up the Riolu and allowing him to climb on her shoulder before setting off towards the designated area.

Konchi and Matthew: As you head down the path to the forest, you can begin to hear the sounds of Pokemon chattering and scurrying about. However, at this time, none seem to really be in sight from your spot on the path. Randolf: The path before you is populated by a group of people. You recognize some of them as former classmates who also graduated recently. For some reason, the group of about 15 is crowded around a bulletin board on the side of the route. Seth and Averie: The sun beats down on you as you reach the beach, but it isn't as hot as it gets in the later summer months. As you reach the beach, you notice a few students taking their break by playing with the Pokemon or friends on the beach. Out in the ocean you can see the glimmer of sun against the waves and backs of Pokemon you can't seem to recognize from this distance.

Randolf goes up to the bulletin board, or tries to, to see what everyone was crowded around about. "I wonder if something is wrong, Stell." The teenager mumbles, wondering if something bad had happened, like a storm or perhaps a hurricane was heading their way.

"Hmm, seems finding a new partner is going to be more work then we originally thought." Matthew and Watson try hunting for a little longer before figuring checking in with his other newly released classmates might be nice, always liked working in groups.
#This is all under the assumption that Matthew does not see Konchi while hunting if he does then he will introduce himself and ask if they would like to hunt with him.

Konchi sighed. "This is gonna be harder than I thought it would be. Hey Bonnie, fly around and let me know if you see anything. When you see something fly straight to me so I can go in that direction." Bonnie seemed to nod and then flew off in search of pokemon.

After a moment's hesitation, Averie leaned against a pile of driftwood that had been dragged together to form a makeshift bench, tugging off her boots and socks and stowing them in her bag. It would have been her luck to end up with omnipresent particles of sand forever embedded in her footwear had she not.
The Riolu slid from her shoulders, bouncing up and down on the soft, white sand before bounding through a cluster of students on his way to the water. Averie hurried behind, leaving a trail of apologies and sheepish glances in her wake. "Warren! Oi, Warren!"
By that point, her partner had reached the water, and he chirped cheerfully as the waves lapped around his paws. Averie tried to give Warren a stern look but failed miserably--how could she be angry at something that cute?
She glanced out at the water, marveling at the various fins and tails that breached the surface of the water.

Randolf: You push your way past the other Trainers to see the Bulletin Board. "Help! Troublesome Pokemon. Contact Arya in Eridanus Town. Large Reward," reads one post. "Lost Girl. Age 9. Last seen in Mall in Pavo City," reads another. However, the one most Trainers have looked at is a flashy-colored notice. "Seeking Trainers for assistance in Pokemon Research. Contact Professor Cypress of Libra Town. Substantial pay."
Konchi, Matthew: Bonnie recognizes a vaguely familiar scent and heads towards it, coming across Matthew and Watson. Bonnie chirps and heads back to Konchi to lead her back to the Pokemon she found.
Averie: A volleyball suddenly breaks across your vision, and a recent graduate walks up to you to pick up the volleyball. He is dressed in a t-shirt and swim trunks, and his glasses slide down over a freckled nose as he leans down to grab his volleyball. As he stands back up, he blushes and apologizes for interrupting your reverie.

Seth plonked himself down in a relatively secluded spot and contemplated his next move. Flint ran around with some of the other pokémon that were nearby. "What to do? Gyms? Catch anything that moves?" He decided to go one step at a time and for the now just take opportunities that present themselves. He called Flint and decided to walk in the shallow water along the beach, something about the waves seemed to relax him, but they had the opposite effect on Flint who stayed a good few feet from the ebb and flow.

Konchi follows Bonnie back, and ends up meeting Matthew. "Hey, I guess you had the same idea I had? Maybe we can look together, I haven't had much luck so far."

The sudden appearance of the flying object startled Averie. "Wh-what the--"
Moments later, a young man scooped up the volleyball. The girl racked her brain--he looked familiar. Had she had a class with him? Probably at some point, if he was a graduate too. Still, the corner of her lips twitched up into a half-smile. "Hey, man, it's cool, no worries. No harm, no foul, right?"
The Riolu stared at the sphere in the young man's hands, slowly opening his mouth and raising a paw towards the ball.
