Time to Begin!

Randolf scratches his head as he looks at the bulletins. <Well, I am going to Eridanus anyways, so I should see if I can help out with the troublesome pokemon. Then I can head on to the lab....but I sort of want to help look for the girl.> he thinks to himself, before pulling out a notepad and writing the information on the bulletins down in it. His memory was good, but not that good, and he was not too familiar with the inland cities anyways.

"Right, Stell, time to go." Randolf huffs as he manages to squeeze out of the crowd, heading once again towards Eridanus. This time though, he was not just going for supplies.

"YEAAAAHHH! Finally Freaking Free!" A wide grin spreads across Sam's face as she exits the academy and nearly screams into the air with enough vigor to scare any possible pokemon that could be near. Letting out an exasperated snort, the Ponyta walking behind her begins to push against her in an attempt to get her moving. "I guess you’re ready to get out of there too, huh Pepper?"

In response the Ponyta let out an imperious whine and stomped her front right hoof impatiently.

"Alright, alright. It's not my fault we were one of the last to be called. Blame my father for having the name Williams." Her eyes briefly scanned the vicinity as she watched the majority of her class get a head start on their journeys. She frowned as she eyed the various pathways.

"So where to first? I suppose it would be a good idea to go get more supplies. Although the presents from Ma and Pa were great! Well except for that doll...what were they thinking? It is not even like I played with dolls as a child. Dolls were always Amy's thing not mine." Sam made a face at the mention of her older sister, and began walking towards the path that headed to Eridanus Town. "Eh, I am sure that I will find some kind of use for it. Either way lets get going!"

"Neither have I, was expecting to see a bunch of people out here. But yea, we can look together."

Seth: As you walk along the beach, contemplating your future, you notice that Flint has begun to walk in a different direction- he of course was staying away from the wave earlier, but he seems to have picked up on something and is now heading further away from the waves towards the grass and sand are of the beach.

Konchi and Matthew: As the two of you traipse through the forest, you hear some grumbling ahead of you. As you walk towards the noise, you see two Pokemon squabbling over a pile of berries. One appears to be a floating green ball-like Pokemon, while the other a blue Pokemon who appears to have already stuffed its face with several berries.

Averie: The boy laughs and hands the ball to Warren. "Wanna play too?" he asks, looking from Warren to Averie. "Seems like your Riolu is interested in joining our game."

Randolf: As you journey down the route to Eridanus, you hear a rustling from some bushes on the side of the road. A slight stench rises from the bushes as they rustle, and in one fell swoop, one of the bushes is sucked away.

Sam: As you travel down the route, you notice a group of students crowded around the Bulletin Board, and someone who looks vaguely like another graduate extracting himself from the group and heading further down the path.

"Take your pick, do you want to try for the green one or the blue one, I figure we can both pokedex each of them so that we can have their information." Matthew Readies his pokedex aiming to scan the blue one with its mouth stuffed at the current moment.

Matthew: The Pokemon, startled by the noise of someone else in their area, cease squabbling and turn to look at the Trainers. The green Pokemon skitters nervously, while the blue Pokemon makes a sort of grumbling noise at the interruption.

Seth broke his reverie upon realising Flint was running off. He quickly put his socks and shoes on whilst calling for the lizard pokémon to slow down. He looked up to see the tip of his tail flame disappear into the grass. He laughed to himself "He always was a little impetuous" he thought. He saw the fire bobbing up and down and ran after him.

Seth: As you reach Flint, you notice that he has located a Pokemon in the grass, and is looking at you, eager for a battle. The Pokemon is a large pink Pokemon and look lazily at Flint, though it seems to be upset at having its sleep disturbed.

"I guess that leaves the green one to me? Heck, it appears to be floating at least, if not flying." Konchi considered the situation and figured it might be easier just to try and catch the thing as opposed to getting it on the pokedex. "Sorry if I make your guy run away, I think mine will run away if I don't catch him quick." If she caught it she could have it as both seen and caught and if she didn't try it would probably run away before they could both scan it. She grabbed the quick ball from her bag and threw it at the green floating pokemon.

Konchi: The Quick Ball shakes twice before bursting open. The green Pokemon escapes from the ball and looses a Psywave at Bonnie.

"Dang, of course I would mess up. Hey Bonnie, shouldn't you be immune to that?" Konchi furrowed her brow as she thought. "Oh, I guess it must be a special move. Use Astonish on the ball."

"Well since we're fighting now, and I wasn't trying to lay claim just getting ready to scan them both, Watson lets show what we got. Lets start with Water Gun at the blue one."

Matthew is going to scan the little floating ball if possible, if not then he will scan the blue one. 1d20�1d12

Seth grinned at the little charmander and took out his pokedex scanning the pink pokémon. The routine had been beaten into him by the teachers at the academy; scan, plan, win. Meanwhile Flint was launching his meanest looks trying to look impressive and terrifying to the strange pokemon he occasionally blew sparks from his nostrils aswell. "That old routine." thought Seth.

[Saku]

"Oh, well. I'm, uh. Not very good at sports." Understatement of the century--Averie's stamina was so poor, she got winded walking up stairs.



Warren lifted the ball above his head, giving his trainer a reproachful look before flinging the sphere at her face. She barely managed to catch the ball before it collided with her nose, and she glowered down at the Riolu. Warren put his paws on his hips and barked, then waved a paw towards first the ball, then the boy.



"Look, if you wanna play, that's fine, Warren, just. I'll...." She turned her attention back to the young man. "Would it be all right if I just watched? Warren'd love to join in, though, if you'd, uh, let him."

Sam gazed curiously at the figure slipping away wondering if it was indeed someone that she possibly knew or if she was simply being crazy. Perhaps in a few minutes she would try to catch up to see, but first she couldn't quite ignore her itching curiosity to see what all of the fuss was about on the bulletin board. After finally making her way closer to read it, Sam smiled with satisfaction and jotted the various jobs down. Extra income was always a good thing. She would have to remember to look into the various jobs once she reached town. Making her way out of the crowd once more, Pepper and herself decided to continue their trek to Eridanus Town both keeping their eyes open for anyone that they may recognize.
