Arminta squeals as the attack deals substantial damage to. Geh too much raw strength, no time to set up any strategies, whipping out the dex, scanning this steel ant, even without the information it will provide Alex knows he's lost the initiative and this is going to be all uphill from here. "Hang in there Arminta, attack back with Tackle!"

Sam’s eyes furrowed in concern upon spotting the two pokemon, and she froze in place unsure if she should continue proceeding forward or if it would be best to leave. From the outside the situation did not appear to be good, as it was apparent that the noises had originated from this young pokemon, and from this distance Sam was still very unsure about the condition of what she could only assume to be its parent. Best case scenario the parent was simply hurt and needed some medical attention. Worst case scenario the parent was dead, and this young one was left all alone. As subtly as she could, she motioned for Pepper to stay on the route while reaching quietly back and grabbing a potion out of her pack.
In hopes of gently alerting the young pokemon to her presence, Sam quietly cleared her throat and held out the potion as a peace offering. “Why hello there.” Her voice, in a unnaturally soft manner, drifted out to greet the small pokemon in hopes of not scaring it “. I’m not sure what happened, but yer companion doesn't look too good. I would like to try to help them if you’re willing to let me. This bottle here contains some medicine, but I would have to come closer to put it on.”

Seth: Oh, missed that bit, sorry (darn pain meds). Yeah the eggs are still there then. The egg Pokemon attacks with Leech Seed. AC (over 4): nVT_V2VAd20
Konchi: The Taillow chirps happily and nuzzles your face- a clear yes.
Averie: The Minun nods excitedly. "Nun, nun!" It begins racing down the beach in search of shells.
Matthew: The PokeDex *dings* as it finished scanning. "Elekid. The Electric Pokemon. A weak electric current flows between its horns. Sticking a hand there shocks the unwary." The Elekid kicks at some of the leaves on the forest floor, but refuses to take its gaze off you.
Alex: You can't scan during Trainer battles- it's considered very rude to scan another Trainer's Pokemon without permission. The Trainer smiles. "Ranna- use Sand Attack!" AC (over 2): 1d20
Sam: The tan Pokemon whirls around, pointing the bone at you, but allows you to come closer. Roll INT check. *d20 +/- INT mod*d20�1d20

Seth watched the eggs launch their attack, he didn't see any damage happen initially but when a few seconds later Flint seemed slightly letargic.
"Best nip this one in the bud." Seth removed a pokeball and threw it at the eggs.

"Okay then, its decided. You just have to hit the button on this pokeball to accompany me." Reaching into her pack once again she pulls out a pokeball and extends it towards the bird.
(Do you want me to roll a d100 even though it agreed to accompany me?)

Seth recalled Flint after making sure the pokémon wouldn't be coming back and set off in search of the path he desperately hoped to find again.
