Aayne steps inside the bustling city, still wet from the rain on the path. He takes a minute to scan his surroundings, looking for something specific. His head stops as he spies the Pokemon Center.
"Perfect. Lets see how we can help our new friend."
He starts walking to the center, but pulls out his pokedex, scanning the ball to see what pokemon it was specifically. Aayne has seen a lot of them in his travels, and this one looked familiar, but he wasn't sure.

Matthew: The shopkeeper nods and packs the items into a bag. "That'll be a total of 1500 Poke." The shopkeeper thinks for a moment. "As for Gyms... Crossing over to the Eastern Mainland will get you to several different Gyms after you leave Pavo... Or you could head through the forest west of here to get to Gemini City."
Aayne: "Vulpix. The Fox Pokemon. It can freely control fire, making fiery orbs fly like will-o'-the-wisps. Just before evolution, its six tails grow hot as if on fire." You enter the Pokemon Center and the Nurse looks up from her clipboard. "Can I help you?" she asks.
Randolf: As you yank, a tiny white tadpole-eel looking Pokemon flops onto the deck. It buzzes angrily at you, preparing for a battle.

"Okay, you guys ready to head towards Pavo now?" Konchi, now suited up in the rain coat asks her companions.

"Thanks for the gear and the advice." Matthew gathers all the items, placing the pokeballs (empty and full) on his belt and stashes the other sensitive items in his bag. After a quick stop at the pokemon center to try and get the best directions possible to Gemini he takes inventory one last time before he starts walking in the straightest path he can to Gemini City through the forest

Randolf takes off Glee's pokeball and sends it through the air with a, "Go get them, Glee! Use Pound!" as the Gulpin appears on deck, taking a second to orient herself before moving in for the attack. The trainer then pulls out his pokedex before starting to scan the new pokemon.

After scanning it, Aayne enters the Center.
"Yes, you can help me. While traveling to here from the academy I happened upon a Vulpix. It was badly hurt, and after I had healed it..."
Aayne pulls out the Heal Ball containing the Vulpix.
"I had noticed that it was blind. I captured it so I could bring it to the nearest center to see if it could be helped. Or at least told where I could go to help it."

Matthew: As you travel, you hear some odd slurping sounds in the forest to the right.
Randolf: The Pokemon retaliates with a beam of electricity. AC (3): hcK0ktcUd20 Damage: 2d8+14 Electric Special Damage.
Aayne: The Nurse's face falls as she lets the Vulpix out onto a nearby stretcher. "Oh, oh, this poor thing... it's in a critical condition. Blissey!" The Blissey runs up to the Nurse. "Take this Vulpix into the ER... I'll be right there to help." As Blissey takes Vulpix to the back, the Nurse turns to you. "This Vulpix is very lucky you found her. It looks like she's been badly abused by her Trainer before being released into the wild to die." She sighs. "And Vulpix isn't the first Pokemon like that to be brought to us, though you do seem to have helped her greatly. Hopefully we can save her, unlike the others..."d20�2d8+14

Matthew glances to the right at the slurping sound, Pokedex in hand <damn useful conditioning, wish it did not come in handy so I could really complain about all the pokedex drills we had to do>.

Matthew: Your PokeDex *dings* as it finished scanning the Pokemon. "Lickitung. The Licking Pokemon. Its long tongue, slathered in a gooey saliva, sticks to anything, so it is very useful." The Lickitung is busy licking trees, and doesn't notice you.
