Sam smiled at Konchi. While she didn’t have many friends that were girls, she had a feeling the pair would probably get along. After all how many other girls called Zubats adorable? Sam liked her. She didn’t seem as superficial as most. “Alright let’s go get some food you two.” Sam pulled her ballcap down so that it was snug on her head and hurried out into the rain looking for the nearest foodcart. As they searched, she would continue their conversation. “So Konchi what was your major in the academy? I don’t recall seeing you in any of my breeding classes.”

"I took all the capturing classes. I might not be the best at battling or raising pokemon, but I can find them and catch them." Konchi was glad, these two seemed like they were pretty nice. "So what kind of food do we want?"

"I'm up for anything...although I wouldn't mind some bacon (or whatever the pokemon worlds equivalent is)."

Averie: As you reach the shop, the storeowner greets you and gestures to the wares. The PokeMart sells Potions (200), Antidotes (250), X Attacks (80), Trainer's Road Kits (250), PokeDolls (1000), Repels (200), Burn Heals (250), and PokeBalls (200).
Randolf: As you head towards the river-side of town to find a way to Pavo, you see multiple sailors of vary genders and ages offering to ferry travelers across to Pavo City.
Alex, Konchi, Sam: You all find a nearby food truck serving breakfast burritos, and each order one. As you walk through the town, you find a boutique selling raincoats and rainboots.
Matthew: The Nurse thinks for a moment. "Well, as far as I know, there aren't any jobs- but check the Bulletin Board over on the wall- someone may have put up something while shifts were changing."

Well. At least she could stock up on Pokeballs. "Could I get three Pokeballs?" As an afterthought, she added, "and a Trainer's Road Kit." Couldn't hurt, right?
Averie made a face as she dug out her wallet. 850 Pokedollars wasn't a lot in the grand scheme of things--but with so little money to her name.... She made a mental note to look into odd jobs when she made it to the next town.

Averie: The shopkeeper bags up your items into a paper bag and hands them to you as he takes the cash. "Hope to see you again!" he says with a smile.

"Thanks, you too--" Averie didn't realize what she was saying, it was such an automatic reaction. She fell silent, then waved awkwardly to the shopkeeper before hurrying out the door, groaning loudly as soon as the door closed.
"Okay. Food. Then moving to the next town. And looking for a job. Yeah." Warren barked in agreement to the itinerary.
Averie sorted the purchased items into their respective compartments before looking around town. "So...were do we find food...?"
The Riolu shrugged.
"Very helpful, thank you, Warren." She sighed. "Guess we, uh. Just walk around until we find something, then."

"Ahh, that was great." Konchi stretched out. "How much for these rain coats?"

Averie: Several food trucks are opening up and, despite the rain, the smell of food begins to hit your nostrils.
Konchi: The shopkeeper smiles. "100 poke for each coat."

Warren put his nose to the air, suddenly bolting in the direction of a food truck.
"Wait!! Warren, slow down!" Averie yelled, following close behind and making a frustrated noise as she sloshed through a puddle. "Warren!"
The Riolu looked up her innocently, pointing at a food truck when that he'd stopped in front of. "Rio."
"A little warning would have been nice," the girl muttered, before turning her attention to the vendor. "Uh. Hello."

Konchi smiles warmly back at the shopkeeper. "Do you think we could get a discount for getting three? How about 150 poke for all three of us?"

Randolf waves at the Sailors and yells "Hello there! Mind helping me get across the river?" in a cheerful voice. This was his first chance in years to get back on the water, even if for a short time and on a ferry.

Averie: The teen girl running the stand grins at you. "Hey there! How can I help you?"
Konchi: The shopkeeper frowns. "I don't bargain with people. Not in these economic times. You can leave, thank you very much."
Matthew: There is nothing of note on the message boards- a few people asking for full-time hires in restaurants, but no lost Pokemon or jobs.
Randolf: A gruff-looking older man nods to you and points to his ferry, a rather nice-looking one called The Lady Lapras. He tells you that it will cost 200 Poke to be ferried across.
