Sorry about the wait- I had midterms and then I was on Spring Break.
His Starter needs to be at level 10. Trainer needs to be at Level 1 with no inventory.

You need to remove 5 of the added stats on the starter and he should only have the starting features for the Ace Trainer class as well as no inventory at all.
As for backstory, all students graduated from the Iridis Academy at age 18, and had their starters during that time.
If you just fix that, he's good to go and you can start posting under Iridis Trainer Academy in "Time to Begin!"
His parents have given him 3 PokeBalls, 1 Great Ball, and 3 Potions as a graduation gift.
