If a character has Pl0tz armor, they are exempt from the above quote. I was mostly taking about the mooks and b-list villians that find "hidden, fun stuff" and it consumes/kills/disfigures them.

I think one of the most annoying cases is Sasuke from Naruto. The fans hate(d) him for the longest time, but he was the Arthur's favorite character. So he somehow stayed plot relevant long after everyone stopped liking him.
PS: It seems that Randolf needs to work on his people skills.

I just hate Plot armor in general. NOT having plot armor? Now that's a different story. My favourite lack of Plot armor was Kamina from Gurren Lagann (big suprise). Kamina was the badass and invented the glorious triangle glasses. And what happens? GIGA.. DRILL.. BREAKER!!!!! Aaand he's dead.
And yes. You do need to work on people skills.
