Alex: As you reach the Pokemon Center, you see Sam, someone you vaguely recognize as another graduate, talking with the Nurse.
Sam: "Of course! They are by the big room in the back. I can get Blissey to show you the way."

Approaching the counter Alex nods in greeting at Sam "Evening", before asking the Nurse "Is there any spare beds for the night?"

Alex: The Nurse nods to you after calling for Blissey. "Of course. We have a public room with several open beds which you may stay in for free tonight, or, if you so desire, you may pay extra for a private room."

"That sounds great! Thanks!" As Sam hears another person approach the counter, she turns and sees a fellow graduate student. Nodding her head back in response, she greets him. "It's Alex right? Good Evening. So..." She pauses as she waits for the Blissey to show her the way to the room. "How was your first day as free man?"

"Mine was..." Sam paused as she tried to find the right word. "Unexpected I guess. Although I suppose I did learn something from it." Her face faltered a bit, but she decided to change topics. " Either way I am just happy to be done with school, and to finally be able to start living life. Can't wait to take on my first gym battle, although my team definitely needs a lot more training. What about you? Have any big plans?"

"Testing myself against the Gyms is something on the to-do list, defiantly am not prepared for such a thing just yet. I was planning on going to Pavo city tomorrow, following up on a request on the Bulletin Board, you would of passed it on the way here"

"Oh I saw that request. Thought about doing some of them, but I guess I kinda got distracted today." Sam gave Alex a small smile. " Perhaps tomorrow I will look again at the board to see if there are any new ones, or if the same ones are still there." After following the Blissey and claiming a bed, Sam will turn to Alex. "So hey, would you be up for a practice battle? Just for the fun of it?"

"A single round match would be perfect. Actually that's all I can do anyways." Sam shurgs. "I did catch a Cubone earlier, but he is quite young and actually doesn't know any damaging moves. Was going to have him watch if you don't mind." Sam glanced over at window, and the darkening sky. "I guess we should take this outside?"

Sam makes her way outside and calls out Pepper. The Ponyta flings her head up, and let's out a eager whine. She then calls out Bo and has him stand beside her to watch.
"Ready when you are."
