In your required class on the occult, you remember reading about something like this- it's an Odd Keystone, which holds the souls of a Spiritomb.

(You are right, forgot about the curse. And it's just a spiritomb? The way you described it made it sound more nightmarish, which would have been funny for me to try to deal with as Aayne. Is the stone still shaking after I picked it up?)

(Still really odd, but more mundane than my mind was thinking. Was hoping I found some cool horror mini-boss  If I realized it was an actual Pokemon, I would have tried to catch it!) Aayne looks around, half expecting another one to show up. Seeing nothing around, Aayne returns Stora to rest up, and continues on, strange stone in hand. |

As you travel, everything seems very peaceful- you see some Pokemon in the forest, but they seem to run away whenever you get close.

You figure the Pokemon are just pretty skittish today and continue on your way. After a few hours, you hear some yowling coming from deeper within the forest.

Aayne stops in his tracks when he hears the noise. Uz stops at his side, looking around in a panic. With little tracking skills of his own, Aayne sends Stora back out. He uses a potion to heal her injuries from the previous battle.
"Stora, do you think you can find out what's making that noise or from what direction? Or possibly find it with your psychic nature?"
