Aayne thinks for a moment It's honestly a generous offer, but I'd go a little nuts staying one place. You never know the future, though.

Aayne smiles at the Nurse, and tries to turn out the door, but flips back real quick.

Somehow, you manages to swim against the current and make it to the other side- however, this swim exhausted you, draining 5 HP.
Aayne: You find the path, and soon you are on your way through the forest!

"Alright! I did it! Did you see that Bonnie?" Konchi looks around for pokemon as she leisurely strolls along the path. No need to exhaust herself by rushing; she was already tired enough from the swim.

As you travel along, you hear some odd and quiet laughter coming from the side of the path... which seems to be darkened unnaturally, as the rest of the forest and path is rather bright today.

You see the image of a... well you could call it a face. One of the eyes is swirled in upon itself and the mouth is opened in a jagged grin. Glowing green orbs materialize around it, and a jagged purple mist surrounds all of this.

Aayne steps back in surprise and fear at this 'face' that has come out at him. His first immediate response is to run, but he stops himself.
Whatever in the world this thing is, it's most likely bringing trouble to other people on the path. I doubt defeating it is out of the question. But maybe I could get it to talk, Get some info out of it, and then get to the city to ask about it.
He takes a large gulp, and looks to his two pokemon, which have gathered near his legs. Not willing to leave the aspiring medic behind, but not willing to get out in front either. He looks back, and addresses the thing.
"Ex...Excuse me. But who are you?"
