The girl laughed, ruffling the fur atop the Pokemon's head. "Fantastic. I promise we'll get something as soon as we get up." She thought for a moment, before--
"Oh! I never introduced myself. I'm Averie." Then, pointing at the Riolu, she continued, "and this is Warren, my first partner." He barked in response, nodding his head once. "And this--" she opened her bag enough so the top of the blue-hued egg peeked out, "--is either little Lapis Lazuli or Khione. Not sure which. But they're gonna be a team member soon!" She paused, then added, "I'm really glad to have you on the team, Joule. I hope we're able to be really good friends." She smiled gently, before turning in the direction of the Trainer Rest Room. "Now. What do you guys say to actually getting some proper sleep?"

Bonnie is hit very hard with the tackle and flits to the ground to wait for Konchi's command. "Ok, you look really hurt, if we can't get this to work then just take it out with a pursuit." Konchi throws another pokeball at the Espeon.

"Oh, thank you. But I cannot, really. I must get Glee to the pokemon center to heal." Randolf says, grateful for the offer. But what he said was true and he would rather not leave his pokemon in pain.

Konchi: The Ball shakes once. *snap* The Espeon breaks free. However, as it escapes, Bonnie attacks with Pursuit, fainting the Espeon and sending it scurrying off into the twisting alleys. Bonnie gains 240 EXP.
Randolf: "Don't be so worried, child- I'll gladly heal your Pokemon for you as well. Now, please, come inside. You must be hungry as well."

"Come on Bonnie, let's just head back to the pokecenter for now. I wish we could have gotten you another friend, but we just didn't have enough luck for it I guess." Konchi walks back to the pokecenter and promptly falls asleep.

Randolf: The woman takes your PokeBalls and puts them on a healing machine- after a few moments, your Pokemon are fully healed.
"Now, back in my younger years, I was quite the Trainer. Unfortunately, I got old, and my Pokemon did too. Before my partner Pokemon died, the pair produced a single Egg. I've cared for this Egg, and it should hatch within two days... but I can't take care of a lively baby Pokemon. Especially not one with so many memories I have associated with. I ask that you take this Egg and care for the hatchling." She paused. "In addition, I'd like to give you 1500 Poke, and 2 PokeBalls, for the trouble you went through."

Randolf says as he accepts the money and pokeballs, placing them in his bag before gingerly holding the egg. "So, ah, I suppose you don't have a couch for me to sleep on, do you? It is getting late, and I fear I will not make it back to the center."

Randolf: "Oh, of course- you can stay in the guest room," she tells you, pointing down the hall. "Bed's already made, dear, feel free to stay there. I'll make breakfast in the morning, if you wish."

"Thank you very much for this." Randolf says before giving off a yawn. After making more light conversation for a few minutes, he excuses himself to go to the back bedroom and goes to sleep.

All: The next morning, you awake in your respective places to the sound of pattering rain against windows. Looks like some clouds moved in overnight and it is a bit rainy outside.

Averie rubbed the sleep from her eyes, as the two canine Pokemon that had been curled up beside her stretched and yawned. The soft pattering at the window caught Averie's attention, and she made a face. Oh boy. She wasn't the biggest fan of soaked boots.
After a brief debate, Averie returned Joule to his Friend Ball as Warren took his customary place on her shoulder. She adjusted the position of the egg in her bag before approaching the nurse to ask for directions to the nearest shop. She thanked the woman before stepping outside and heading in the designated direction.
