Taken by surprise at the sudden affection, Sam initially stiffens as the pokemon hugs her, but then relaxes and places a comforting hand on its back pulling it close. She smiles as it points at the pokeballs, and takes one off( a friend ball) and holds it out for it. “I bet you are pretty tired from today. Why don’t you take a nap, and when we reach Eridanus town I will wake you so that we can get some dinner? “

"Radical!" Averie held up the opalescent scale, turning it over in her fingers before handing it to the Minun. "Hey, Melody, do you wanna go stick this in a place of honor on the castle? I can keep looking for shells, if you want." She winked at the mouse.

Sam breaths in slowly as the ball dings and she places it back on her belt. Looking over at Pepper, she gives the pokemon a somber smile before looking back at the grave they had just made. "Well I suppose that is one way to capture your first pokemon ."
As she gazes at the grave, an idea comes to her and she quickly begins searching for either a unique rock or a study stick to put on the burial as a grave marker. While her new pokemon was probably not concerned about revisiting the grave at the moment, Sam knew that it may become interested in doing so in the future and it would be nice to have something to signify where the grave was. After finding a sturdy rock or stick, she places it by the grave and wraps a red handkerchief around it.
After making sure that the marker was placed in a durable position, Sam and Pepper once again resume their journey to Eridanus Town.

Sam: After a little more walking, you finally reach Eridanus Town. [You may begin posting in the same thread as Randolf.]

"Well that was a battle well fought Nice job on our first battle Gustav, high-five." Matthew raises his hand at Gustav's level, Gustav meets his hand but looks a little confused by the whole idea. "Alright Konchi we can start on our way back to get healed up and go on our journey proper." With that Konchi and Matthew head out. "Mind if I scan your new friend don't think anyone in our class had one of those?"
