(It's just to see if you notice anything out of the ordinary for a city. this time)
You don't notice anything different than from when you left- it's up to you to decide where in the city to go next, rather than fate.

Randolf shrugs as he makes his way towards the Underground once more, confident in his new bag to protect him from thieves.

Someone attempts to steal from your pack, but they are unable to, as your new Bag does its job well. You look around the Underground, noting a few stands open, a large pillar-like structure near the center, and, of course, tons and tons of people.

Randolf moves over to the large pillar-like structure to examine, never having seen pillar as large as that one before. As he grows closer he looks up at the pillar with something akin to awe.

As you get closer, you see a door and realize this is actually another way up to the top besides the normal entrances.

Randolf is, at first, surprised at the fact. But then, with unsteady hands, he opens the door and peers inside looking up at the top to see how far it is.

There is a ladder going fairly high up. Roll perception. (I'm sorry dear)

You are unable to tell how high up exactly it goes, nor can you determine where it would lead.

(Oh sight, how I miss you. Once I perhaps knew what you were, but now we are just so far apart. Oh sight, how I miss you....)
Randolf, his curiosity getting the better of him, starts to climb the ladder.

You get about halfway up the ladder before alarms start going off in the pillar. You hear a clang and when you look down, you see that the way to get back down is blocked off by a steel door.

"Perhaps...perhaps I should not have come up here..." Randolf muses as he resumes climbing the ladder once more, the reasoning behind doing so is that it is the only way out now.
