Tom: The cats don't seem to like your continuing presence here and begin stalking towards you.
Randolf: The doctor leads you to a room with a bunch of machinery and points to a door. "Step in there and change into the gown, then come back out here and we'll do the x-ray."

Well at least the two cats weren't fighting each other anymore but wouldn't the fighting resume once he left? He tries to get an inkling of what these cats were and sends out Vera for a Supersonic. Vera bursts out and tries to line up the two felines for the disconcerting burst of sound.
Supersonic, Ranged(6), 1 column (I can't remember if you had extra rolls for extra targets sooo) AC 1:wlBwToHC1d20 vs 11 AC 2:1d20 vs 11

Randolf does as told, albiet uncomfortably, and stands in front of the x-ray machine. -This is why I need to keep my mouth shut- he thinks to himself, looking at the intimidating machine.

(I actually meant to have something in the last post about dexing and forgot. Didn't really state it outright though.) Well that was an interesting turn of events. The cats onslaught was to great for either Tom or Vera and both fall into a faint.

Randolf does as he is told, paling at all the thought of what they may be doing to him. What if they were not only trying to take a x-ray of him? What if what they were really doing involved scalpels or needles!?

The machines whir for a minute or two, and then the doctor steps back into the room. "Alright, go ahead and change back into your street clothes. We'll go over your x-rays back in the other room."

As for Tom, luckily for him, some police officer comes by and escorts him to the station, where he is revived to half health, only to wake up... in a cell.

Randolf puts on his previously discarded clothing and heads back into the other room. "How bad does it look, Doc?" he asks with a nervous smile.

Tom groggily shakes himself awake not really sure what's going on. The scratch still was sore but not unmanageable. Making a commotion wouldn't help matters. Best just to wait out this whole misunderstanding.

Randolf: "Well, it's not as bad as it could have been. You've got a couple bruised ribs, so I'm going to prescribe you some painkillers and advise you avoid direct involvement with battles for the next several weeks.
Tom: "Mooorning, sunshine," one of the cops says. "Mind coming with me?"

"That does not sound too bad, Doc. How powerful will these pain killers be?" Randolf asks, as he puts on the rest of his stuff. He checks in on the egg, making sure that it was ok.

"Not at all, officer. Why was I in a cell exactly?" Tom questions.
