Tom takes in the huge size of the HQ. How could something that big be for just one business? He tries to step inside, looking around for some sort of informational desk. He'd never be able to find his way to the job office or whatever it was on his own.

Randolf approaches the young girl carefully, not to spook or upset her anymore then she is. "Hey there. Why are you so upset?" he asks her once he is close enough.

Tom: You see a desk with two receptionists.
Randolf: "I'm trying to find my sister," the girl says with a sniffle. "Can you help me?"

Randolf kneels down so that he is eye-level with the girl before giving her a reassuring smile. "Of course I can help you. Now, where was the last place you saw your sister?" It did not take very long for Randolf to put two plus two together, that this girl's sister was probably one of the missing ones he was looking. In case she was not one of those, the question he asked would probably take them back to the area where the sister was in so he could reunite the two. Of course he had a feeling that was not the case, that this girl before him was hunting her missing, kidnapped sister. Any information she could give him would be helpful, even though he has suspicions about who the kidnappers already were.

Tom heads over to talk to the receptionists, waiting in line if need be. "Hello, I was wondering if the Chari Company might have any temporary job openings for a recently graduated student," he says once he has their attention. Being direct and to the point couldn't hurt. Randolf: "In the Underground... she went to go buy something from one of the tables a few days ago and never came back..."
Tom: "Um, not at this moment, no... You'd be better off getting some job experience first."

"Is that so? I guess we best start looking around then. The tables where she went to buy something will be a good place to start." Randolf says as he straightens himself, before holding out a hand for the girl to take.

Well that was certainly discouraging. Oh well, Tom had set his hopes rather high. "Thanks anyway," he says as he heads out. Well he still had about as much direction as when he had entered the city. Perhaps a bit of wandering would go over well. After all this was his first time in the capital.

bowyer: Perception Check
Randolf: The girl accepts your hand and leads you to the stand where her sister was last seen- a kind-looking girl is selling home-grown berries.

"Hello, miss. Mind if I ask you a few questions" Randolf asks the seller, with a smile.

"Of course! What do you need to know?"

"Have you seen this girl's sister before? I heard she frequented the area and was wondering if any of the vendors had saw her." Randolf asks, keeping the smile. If the vendor said that she has not seen the sister, then it will be clear she was lying. If she said she has saw the sister, that meant she was was either innocent or telling the truth. At least, that is what Randolf thought.

"Yeah, she bought some berries from me the other day- she comes by about once a week to get berries to feed the stray Pokemon around the Underground."
