You enter the massive City of Gemini- the rain interacting with the electric arches at the entrances and exits to the City. People hurry about in the City from building to building, and the twisting alleyways, though mostly lit, would still be a pain to get lost in. Every so often, an Electric Pokemon sends out sparks to communicate with others, and you can sometimes see flashes of... something before they disappear. Stores advertise for the most updated technologies, and in the very center of the City is the Pokemon Gym- an amalgamation of steel-based modern art and crackling electric currents.

Entering through the archway Seth slowed his pace to a walk, taking in the impresively sized city. After his initial reverie he turned his thoughts back to his plan. Pokémon center, the pokémart, see about a job. He turned round looking for someone who might stop to give him directions.

Seth: The people seem to be bustling about without much concern for others. On a closer look, you notice that they all seem to keep their heads down, and avoid making eye contact with anyone.

Rather than bothering them with his questions Seth decided to head towards the centeral gym, the gym leader would surely be willing to help a starter trainer. The alleyways ahead looked treacherous but Seth remembered a piece of advice he'd recieved about mazes "always keep your left hand on the wall" and started down the alleyways.

[You don't need to go down alleys, they are just an added aspect. Think Lumoise City but with more alleys and fewer large streets.]

(Ah ok, instead:)
Seth took note of the general reservedness and shrugged. Seeing the gym at the end of the Street he decided to head there to get information from the gym leader, surely THEY would be willing to help a starter trainer. Also he would have to ask if there was a special reason the people were behaving like this or just how they were raised.

As you approach the Gym, you see a line of Trainers waiting outside the entrance door- it isn't a very long line, maybe 10 or so people, but its enough to make you wonder why they're all standing out in the rain.

Seth approached the queue with a puzzled look, finally he joined the back before tapping the person in front of him and asking "Erm.. Excuse me, why is there a line for the gym?"

The person in front of you, a woman around the age of twenty, turns around and looks you over. "The Leaders are about to select their challengers for the day. We're here to prove to them that we deserve to challenge them today."

"Ah, OK. Erm, you wouldn't happen to know where the pokemon center is would you? I've just come through the forest from the Academy and was sort of looking to get my guys back in fighting shape?" Seth replied whilst noting that getting the badge from here may take a couple of days. "Also if you know where the pokémart is too?"

"Center is that way, and the Mart is right next to it," the girl says, pointing down the large street straight ahead. "Can't miss it."

"Thanks!" Seth replied as he headed off into the direction the girl had pointed in and entered the pokécenter. Gemini city was rather different from what he was used to, the people were more withdrawn and the gym seemed fairly busy. He had seen Pewter City gym in Kanto from time to time whilst travelling with his parents but it never had a queue. Ah well Seth thought as he approached the counter.

The Nurse smiles at you as you approach the counter. "Hello sir! How may I help you today?"

"Hey could you please heal this little guy? Also do you know if there are any odd jobs going about?"

The Nurse nods and heals your Pokemon. "As for jobs, it isn't my job to know any of that- check the electronic bulletin boards around the city. There is one here, I believe."
